Licences and permits authorise water use and water affecting activities in specific resource areas across the state.

mywater is an exciting addition to South Australia’s water management system. It will bring tangible benefits to local communities, landholders and irrigators, offering easier access to water market information, contemporary online applications, streamlined application processing and reduced trading times.

Members of the public, including holders of water instruments, approvals and permits, can now request a mywater login.​

South Australia has a NEW Water Register

You can search the Water Register for free, or for a fee, depending on what type of data you require. You do not require a login to search the new Water Register.
